Interpretation and Definitions
Words with an initial capital letter have the meanings defined below. The same meaning applies whether they appear in singular or plural form.
For this policy, Crazy Sudoku refers to the Android game, its account and cloud-sync service, and related web pages published under the Crazy Sudoku name.
- Personal Data means information that can identify or reasonably be linked to an individual.
- Usage Data means data collected automatically when the site is used.
- Device means any device that can access the site, such as a computer, phone, or tablet.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data
You can play without creating an account. If you choose to create one, we collect the information needed to provide authentication and cloud sync.
- Usage Data such as IP address, browser type, browser version, pages visited, time spent on pages, and diagnostic information.
- Device and browser details that your browser sends automatically when you visit the site.
- A theme preference saved locally in your browser so the site can remember your chosen appearance.
- Any message or contact details you choose to send to us by email.
- For optional accounts: your name, email address, email-verification status, profile image if supplied by Google, and secured authentication records.
- Cloud-synced game data such as saved puzzles, progress, achievements, preferences, statistics, coin balance and transaction history.
- Session and device information such as an installation identifier, device label, IP address, browser or app user agent, and recent activity time.
- Purchase and rewarded-ad events needed to deliver in-game coins and prevent duplicate rewards. Payment-card details are handled by the app store and are not stored by Crazy Sudoku.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
The website uses Google Analytics and local browser storage. The Android app stores game progress locally so it remains playable offline.
If you sign in, secure session tokens are stored on your device and used to authenticate cloud-sync requests. The Android app may also use Google AdMob and RevenueCat or Google Play services for ads and purchases.
Use of Your Personal Data
We use the collected information to keep the site working, understand usage, respond to messages, and improve the experience.
- Provide and maintain the service.
- Monitor site usage and diagnose issues.
- Respond to contact requests.
- Improve the site and its content.
- Authenticate optional accounts, verify email addresses, reset passwords, and manage signed-in devices.
- Back up and synchronize game progress across devices, merge offline progress, and keep the coin ledger consistent.
- Validate purchases and rewarded-ad grants, prevent duplicate transactions, and investigate abuse.
Sharing Your Personal Data
We may share the minimum necessary data with providers that help operate the service, including Cloudflare and our hosting provider, Resend for account email, Google for sign-in, analytics and advertising, RevenueCat and Google Play for purchases, and backup-storage providers.
We do not sell personal data. Google and other providers process data under their own privacy policies when you use their services.
Retention and Transfer
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.
Data may be processed on systems located outside your jurisdiction if a service provider stores or processes it there.
Account and cloud-save data remains while your account is active. When an account is deleted, live account data is removed; encrypted backup copies expire according to the backup retention schedule.
Delete Your Personal Data
You can delete an optional Crazy Sudoku account from Settings > Account in the Android app. You may also contact us for help with access or deletion requests.
Deleting an account removes cloud data but does not automatically erase games saved locally on your device. You can remove local data by clearing the app storage or uninstalling the app.
We may still keep records when we need them to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
We may disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights or property, to prevent wrongdoing, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
Security of Your Personal Data
We use reasonable measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children's Privacy
The service is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
Links to Other Websites
The site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so we recommend reviewing their policies separately.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the last updated date above.
